Volunteers learn about the Plant a Million Corals Foundation and ways that they can become involved. Each volunteer will learn the skills for participating in each capacity for the organization, and a roll will be determined. Volunteers with more time and multiple skills will be encouraged to “cross-train” to allow for multiple roles. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. All participants are requested to complete and send in our volunteer registration form as well as the liability waiver.

Possible roles for volunteers include but aren’t limited to:

• Coral husbandry (cleaning tanks, tank transfers, etc.)
• Micro-fragmentation (with instruction and supervision from staff)
• Public tours
• Event assistance (fundraisers, festivals, etc)
• Facility maintenance
