Coral Restoration Workshop

Learn coral “micro-fragmentation” and other techniques for restoration for all species at the Brinton Environmental Center Coral STEM training nursery and at the Plant a Million Corals new land-based facilities on Summerland Key, FL, USA with Dr. David Vaughan.

During this 5 days intensive workshop, you will learn all techniques necessary to conduct cutting-edge coral fragmentation, in a working land-based coral nursery.

Technologies covered include nursery design and construction, sexual reproduction techniques for genetic diversification, field nursery and out planting operations, and snorkel excursions (weather permitting to monitor out plant sites (requires snorkeling equipment and basic swimming skills).
